2023-2024 ACADEMIC YEAR SUMMER SEMESTER ENROLMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Parent / Student,

Payments for the Summer semester for the 2023-2024 Academic Year will begin on Tuesday, May 21 and end on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 (including Tuesday).

In order to be able to choose your courses on time, you must complete your payment before the first day of the course selection period which is Tuesday, June 4, 2024 as announced. Students will be able to pay and register until the last day of the add-drop period.

The payment process for the summer semester must be completed as follows:

The undergraduate program fees for the summer semester of 2023–2024 have been defined in the PARAM system as 1, 2, and 3 course fees based on the scholarship rate. It is not possible to pay the tuition fees via direct bank transfer.

Students will be able to take courses according to the payment options per course. For example, if 1 course fee is paid, only 1 course will be given by the system. Students who wish to take additional courses can do so by making an extra payment per course until the last day of the add-drop period date.

Important Reminder: In accordance with Article 46, paragraph (g) of the Higher Education Law 2547 of 04.11.1981, amended by Law 6111 of 13.02.2011, tuition fees must be paid in the beginning of the relevant term and students who fail to pay the tuition within the deadline and whose excuse is not accepted by the Executive Council cannot select courses.

Payment using direct bank transfer is not possible.
Students must enter their 5-digit KU ID number to make the payment, In case of facing an error during the payment procedure, you can take a screenshot and email it to studentaccounting@ku.edu.tr
Students unable to use PARAM should consider transaction fees when making their payment. If the university receives an incomplete payment due to these fees, the student might face enrollment difficulties.

*Important note: All students are able to enroll in 2 courses in summer semester. Only students with a CGPA of 2.7 or above, and students with less than 45 credits left to graduation can enroll in 3 courses.

Students who fail to make payment in compliance with these procedures will not be able to enroll.

Except for scholarships and discounts, these are TL figures including 10% VAT. Scholarships and discounts will be calculated over your tuition fees.

Tuition fees are the same for all undergraduate programs at Koç University, excluding the School of Medicine.
