Payments for the Fall semester for the 2024-2025 Academic Year will begin on Wednesday, July 24 and end on Friday, 9 August 2024 (including Friday). In order to register for the semester, the payment process must be completed as follows:

Important Information

• Koç University tuition fees are determined and announced on a semester Fall semester tuition fees are announced in July and Spring semester tuition fees are announced in January.
•   We would like to inform you that if only the Fall semester payment is made during the University’s Fall Semester registration period, there will be an increase (with limited inflation rate of July- December) for the Spring semester tuition fees which are announced in the tables bellow.
• The annual tuition fee covers the courses in the Fall and the Spring semesters, and if the payment is made during the University registration period annually, the fee will cover both the Fall and Spring semesters.
• For the annual fee payment option, payment in installments is not accepted. Payment in installments is applicable only if the Fall and Spring semester fees are paid separately at the beginning of each semester (Fall semester payment in July, Spring semester payment in January).

From 2018-2019 period, payments are expected to be made according to the following rules.

• Students who are in the first 7 semesters are required to pay the full semester fee in order to choose
• Students in their 8th semester will be able to pay and take courses according to the credit load they want to take if department has less credit than the semester credit load. (Students who are in the 8th semester who have more credit than their department’s credit load will pay the full-term fee as stated in the first )
• Students taking classes in the summer semester and transitioning to the 8th semester of their careers in all faculties other than the Faculty of Medicine are required to pay the full semester tuition fee as long as their Summer ’24 semester course grades have not been determined. Following the announcements of the grades, if the student’s status turns into a student who can make the payment according to the number of courses they wish to take (course-based), a refund can be requested for the overpayment after the add-drop period via the following link Refund Application.
• Students who are in the 9th and post periods will be able to pay and take courses according to the credit load they wish to take regardless of the remaining credit
• The periods mentioned above will be considered from the end of the English Preparatory School (ELC)

Late Fee

Those who do not pay until August 9, 2024, will be charged a late fee. The late fee will not affect the scholarship status or the discount amount.

1. Payment Options:

 There are two payment plans: lump sum or in installments. Payments in installments are made only through Yapı ve Kredi Bank. The table showing the bank information for which payments can be made as a lump sum and the table for 2024-2025 Fall semester tuition fees (according to the scholarship rate and undergraduate programs) are presented below.

• Lump Sum Payment Option:

It is not possible to pay the tuition fees by bank transfer. Instead, payments can only be made through the systems of contracted banks details for banks and payment channels are given below.

* Except for scholarships and discounts, these are TL figures including 10% VAT. YKS scholarship fees will be calculated over your scholarship rates.

Turkish citizens who are Blue Card holders must make their payments in Turkish Liras.

1.2 Option for Payment by Installments:

Payments in installments can only be made through Yapı ve Kredi Bank and must be in Turkish Lira.

After applying for installment payments via mobile banking, you need to log in to the mobile banking system again following the approval notification sent by Yapı Kredi Bank and provide your approval by entering the instruction for the approved installment payment. Otherwise, your installment payment process will not be completed.

**Payments in four equal installments will be collected on 02 September 2024, 02 October 2024, 04 November 2024, 02 December 2024.

Important Notes on Installment:

• It is important to ensure that the amount required for the realization of installment payments must be in the account to be specified by the financial institutions providing the loan on the relevant payment Day-based interest will be charged to these amounts not deposited in the account specified by the financial institutions.
• Parents who prefer the installment payment option should do so by choosing Yapı ve Kredi
• Your installment must be completed between July 24 – August 9,2024.
• In addition to the installment payment plan that Koç University has provided to you, it is possible to use Education / Consumer Loan with various maturity and payment options from any financial institution of your choice. However, the entire amount is required to be paid to Koç University as stated in 1.1 “Advance Payment Option”. Since the internal evaluation processes of Yapı ve Kredi for installment applications take time, it is important not to leave the application process to the last.
